Beaver Creek winter holiday celebrations are simply magical!  Kick off the winter holiday seasons with the Beaver Creek Tree Lighting Ceremony over Thanksgiving weekend!  Enjoy carolers, children’s poetry, fireworks and of course a visit from Santa! All of these events take place around the ice rink in Beaver Creeks Plaza.  The dark turns to a beautiful array of lights as the Village lights up for the holidays!

The Beaver Creek winter holiday celebrations don’t stop there! After the fireworks go off, head down to the Vilar Performing Arts Center for a FREE holiday family film as well as cookies and cocoa starting at 6:30pm.

Make sure to come early and walk through the Gingerbread Competition. View the works of art on display in Ford Hall starting at 4pm. Bid on the entries as well as many other eye catching items in the silent auction. All benefiting CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates, helping children in the Vail Valley and beyond.

Schedule of Nov. 25, 2011 Beaver Creek Winter Holiday Celebrations:

4:00 – 8:30 pm: Public viewing and silent auction of the Gingerbread Competition inside Ford Hall

5:30 – 6:30 pm: Tree Lighting Ceremony around the ice rink on the Beaver Creek Plaza

7:00 – 9:00 pm: Free ice skating in the plaza
