Constructed for the 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships, The Audi Beaver Creek’s Birds of Prey race course is widely recognized as one of the top five race courses in the world, and is the only venue in the United States to hold a World Cup Men’s Downhill race.

Most exciting event in alpine ski racing! Racers attempt to be the fastest down the mountain through a minimum number of control gates. Bird’s Nest Festivities at the finish area will take place from 2011 World Cup Men’s Downhill.
MEN’S SUPER G
Saturday, December 3rd, 11:00am
A one-run event like the Downhill, but with more turns like the Giant Slalom. Bird’s Nest Festivities at the finish area will take place from 10:00am to 4:30pm.
MEN’S GIANT SLALOM
Sunday, December 4th, Run 1 – 9:45am / Run 2 – 12:45pm
The event requiring the most technical skill with the execution of many short, quick turns. Bird’s Nest Festivities at the finish area will take place from 9am to 2:30pm.
